Today’s Things To Do Before You Die post is something I’d actually love to accomplish.

#14: Master Poker and… Win Big in a Casino

According to 101 Things To Do Before You Die, ”unreadable poker faces, bluffing and double bluffing. Poker is the card game, the only one worth mastering.”

I love poker. I can play it online, but put me at an actual table… I’m horrible. However, I’ve always dreamt of mastering poker and taking someone for all they’ve got ;)

The way I play...

Poker is one of those games that require both skill and guts. Either go big, or go home… so exciting. Which is why I often find myself watching it on television on lazy Sundays. It is both entertaining and educational. I’m hoping that one day I will magically learn how to play poker like a pro, just by watching it on TV, but I’m aware this is wishful thinking.

Poker tips: How to Play Texas Hold’em Poker Like a Pro

Once you finally have the courage to take your game to the casino, the book advises “whatever you do, if you win big, don’t be tempted to stay. Keep your car keys in your pocket, your watch on your wrist and the shirt on your back.”

FYI, the World Series of Poker is held every year in Las Vegas. Anyone can enter, with a $10,000 entry fee of course!
